Hoffman Dairy was started 5 Generations ago in this spot. It had been in Operation 27 miles south prior to that. Our beginning on this farm started in 1905 and has remained in the family since then. We are currently operating with the 4th and 5th Generations with the 6th Generation learning the ropes of farming and Cheese making!
The Creamery started in 2004 as a Value Added addition to the farm.
We are ARTISAN CHEESE PRODUCERS who use only OUR OWN MILK. We pride ourselves in making the freshest cheese available by using only the freshest milk. We use Vegetable Rennet and use NO Hormones or Antibiotics. We make Cheddars, Monterey Jack, Cheese Curd, Mozzarella, BelPaese, Heritage (A parmesan/swiss blend)
We offer self-guided tours of the farm so you can "get to know" the animals. If you want a "guided" tour, we charge $2.00/person and require reservations. Our samplings of cheese are always FREE.
