SVC Macaroni and Cheese

It is that time of year when we are all craving some comfort food and I wanted to share a family favorite here at the Creamery with you today! This is our SVC Macaroni and Cheese - requested by young and old alike, a sure fire crowd pleaser, especially with these cooler days we have been having! So without further ado:

SVC Macaroni and Cheese

Prep Time: 25 minutes

Bake Time: 45 minutes

Makes: 6 servings

THE CHEESE: Sunset View Creamery Deep Seneca, Down on the Beach and Raw Milk

INGREDENTS:

1 Stick of Butter

12 oz of Sunset View Creamery Deep Seneca – cubed

12 oz of Sunset View Creamery Down on the Beach – cubed

6 cups of Sunset View Creamery Raw Milk

1 Cup of Flour

1 pound of Macaroni – fully cooked

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375

Melt butter on stovetop being careful to not burn.

Add in the Flour being sure to stir to incorporate. ½ of a cup at a time.

SLOWLY add in the milk while stirring (be sure you have not added in the cheese yet our your mixture will turn grainy) and as you stir you should notice that it will start to thicken.

Add in your cheese cubes and stir until melted.

Pour your cheese sauce over the cooked noodles and bake covered for 45 minutes.
